Dr. Lorraine Gahles-Kildow is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of New Jersey.  She received her MPhil and PhD from the City University of New York and her M.A. from Long Island University. Her area of expertise is in Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She has been in private practice for 22 years dealing with adults, teenagers, parents and children. She has taught psychology courses for over 30 years (some examples are: Infant-Toddler Child Development, Child Development, Adolescence and Early Adulthood, and Development across the Lifespan). From 2000-2018 Dr. Gahles-Kildow was also an instructor training Montessori Teachers on Child Development domains and psychological principles for Infant/Toddlers, Elementary School children, and, Middle School children and teens at the Princeton Center for Teacher Education in Princeton, New Jersey.  She has incorporated positive psychology interventions into her practice and teaching since its renewed inception and has written articles and presented seminars in utilizing these interventions for caregivers, healthcare professionals and for self-care in individuals and families.
